Viola Vitalis

Viola Vitalis has been dedicated to develop and disseminate technology, methodology and nutraceuticals for the marginalized people. It has developed Arsenicure, an ointment for treatment of external symptoms of arsenicosis and Ars-detox, a capsule formulation to neutralize the accumulated arsenic inside the body. Viola Vitalis has based the formulations on research that has been done for other purposes, perform the essential research and taken the leverage of available research to develop products at low cost.

The nutraceuticals are made on the base of natural preparations that provide nutritional support for the body’s natural antioxidant and detoxification system. It has not been tested on animals. All the ingredients are classified as GRAS by the FDA (Federal Drug Administration of United States Government), i.e. Generally Recognized As Safe for human consumption.

The founder of Viola Vitalis is Abdul Kader who holds an M. Sc. in Microbiology, an MBA in marketing and a PhD from Karolinska Institutet in Molecular Microbiology. Dr. Kader started to work with arsenicosis patients right after his graduation from university; and developed the nutraceuticals together with Michael Ott of Allium Vitalis. To detect the arsenic from water, Viola Vitalis is now collaborating with Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research to develop biosensors.

Viola Vitalis has also developed a unique system to reach out to the arsenicosis victims by mobile teams. The base clinic is a truck that is well equipped with products and essential equipments and the test equipments. It is consist of doctor, one nurse and one awareness person. The base clinic visits several satellite clinics where the patients come to meet with the doctor, get the products and learn how to get rid of the disease. One satellite clinic has approximately 500 patients and one base clinic has 5 satellite clinics. The satellite clinics will be disbanded when all people in the area have been cured. We expect that every satellite clinic will last three to twelve months, depending on how many people they serve in total.

The efforts of Viola Vitalis have been recognized by Swedish television (SVT), Bioshakhi television and also covered by national and international dailies.
